Monsters in a Bottle

Students created a monster in a bottle that was way too big to get out of the bottle. How did he get in there in the first place? We stuff the bottles and stood them on a paper towel stand. The kids loved these.

Famous People Portraits

The 4th graders always write a biography about a famous person in their regular classroom and we have started creating a portrait of that famouse portrait in the art room.

What's been happening.....

These were monoprints from acrylic plates that were done with clinical student, Lindsey Smith, in the 3rd grade art class.....The students learned about the printing process and also complimentary colors. The students used tempera paint to trace their drawing on the acrylic printing plate three times and print on one of each complimentary set of colors. The students then used chalt in the complimentary color to add to the black line print. Awesome job!!!
